God's timing

Our wedding verse came from our favourite section of Ecclesiastics...that there is a time for everything..

"1 There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven:
...
11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. 12 I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live. 13 That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil—this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him. "
Ecc 3:1-11

I opened the devotional book to today's date and it's about God's timing.
"Of course, God's plans don't always unfold according to our wishes or at the time of our own choosing. Nonetheless, we can trust the benevolent, all-knowing Father as we wait patiently for Him to reveal Himself. Until God's plans are made clear to us, our task is to simply to walk in faith and never lose hope, knowing that His ways are always the best."

We have waited...and when God gives, even at the oddest of times, we still give thanks. Still we'll need to trust an walk in faith for the next journey that is ahead of us, a journey we weren't expecting. So we have unexpectedly expected. And just when we thought, after trying for a year, that i'll be unlikely to conceive....and was prepared to find out why, and was prepared to enjoy life in Canberra with one kid and lots of energy...God surprises us. In a nice way, though. :)
