Sometimes both of us have lame stuff that sends us choking with laughter.
This one started with us talking about the storeroom that needed to be cleaned out of stuff that my in-law brought along when they moved in with us. It was sooo much i can't get past half the distance of the tile in the storeroom. I had always felt the space was badly wasted when they rearranged the shelves in there...("wasn't the first layout much more efficient?").
And this went on to the vacuum cleaners and chairs and old stroller that were lying in our deck balcony such that it no longer looked like our deck balcony anymore, but a mini storeroom. I did a mini spring clean of that place during CNY, and the biggest eyesore was the iEcology. It was packed in a cardboard box, that's somewhat crumpled at the edges and looked just picked up from the dump.
Ww had not wanted to throw it away because it still had a very crucial use around the house...not vacumming that is! The iEcology is useful because it could suck out the dirt from the air-con drain pipe. At least it's so powerful it could.
We couldn't store it in the storeroom cos it's so full and i had previously suggested it to be tucked outside the house (if you know our place...it has 'our' corridor with the plants and a shoe cabinet and a huge space before the stairs..cos it's actually like a lift lobby landing, with no lift) but Ww's mum argued that the rain gets in and it'll get wet.
So it's still out at our balcony...
Well...the idea of putting the iEcology outside the house came up again recently...but i was saying that it's packed in a ugly box. I can't remember where the conversation led to but last night, while we were in the study room, Ww caught sight of the wrapping paper (another long story i won't go into) and started choking (which is what he usually does, if he starts laughing these days). Anyway, the thought about wrapping the iEcology in the wrapping paper (which I kinda won't use), and putting it outside, sent us into laughter. We were amused.
Sometimes we wonder if couples get into these kind of lameness and laugh over lame things, or at each other. I guess they do yah. It's the part of fun of being together.
